Reticulum has a few objects of interest to residents of the Southern Hemisphere. It's best viewed in the Summer (November-December) but is visible at any time of the year.

To find the constellation draw a line between the two bright stars Achernar (alpha Eridani) and Canopus (alpha Carinae). Midway along this line, and about seven degrees south are the stars that form Reticulum.
