M39 (NGC 7092)

M39 (NGC 7092) is a loosely scattered open cluster of seventh magnitude stars which form a rough triangle.

Two fields due east of Deneb is rho Cygni. In the same field, 3º north, is M39: binoculars.

About thirty stars form the cluster, which is about 800 light years away.
